NFL Betting - 2 Team Parlay

Okay, I was reading an article at Sports Betting Football about the teams that must win this week or their season could be over.

Source: NFL betting - Sports Betting Football. (Link goes directly to the article)

The stat got me thinking.

There are two teams on their list this week that are on the road, but with good numbers.

The first team is the Colts. They are a 3-point favorite at Minnesota.

The second team is the Chargers -2.5 at Denver.

Both of these teams were supposed to be in the playoffs and some would say the Super Bowl. For that to happen, looking at stats history, both must win.

Sure, they could both win and not cover, but the numbers are low and I can see them winning by 3-7.

Therefore, a possible 2-team parlay would be the Colts and Chargers.

I'd play both as individual bets, but if you've got a parlay going, adding these two teams might be worth it.

NFL Week 1 Thoughts

Wow, week 1 of this new NFL season was exciting.

What game did you think was the best?

Personally, I enjoyed the San Diego Chargers game and the Green Bay game. Both were exciting and had fun finishes.

Did you win many football bets? I did very well on the first week of the season.

So now that Tom Brady is out, do we cancel the Patriots' ticket to the playoffs?

The NFL betting lines for this week look pretty good overall. I plan to look at them more soon.

The Seahawks lose by 24 on the road, come home and are now a 9-point favorite over the 49ers. What's that say about how terrible San Francisco is? The Hawks lost Nate for the season and have no receiver threats at all.

If you want to see this week's lines, check them out here: NFL lines.

I'll be back tomorrow with some game thoughts for this coming week.

3 Easy Ways to Avoid NFL Betting Scams Online

NFL Betting online is a blast, but there are a few bad elements in the online gaming world.

Here's a brief summary of three tips to avoid NFL betting scams from Wise Bettor's football betting blog @ SportsBettingFootball.com.

1. Look at deposit methods.

Basically, any online sportsbook worth a darn will take deposits many ways. Stay away from checks, bank wires and Western Union.

Your best bet is to use a credit card or a well-known 3rd party payment processor.

2. Google the sportsbook.

This one is great. Here's the basic idea.

If the online sportsbook is reputable and larger, there will be plenty of information about them on forums, blogs, etc. All you need to do is search and discover.

It's such a simple tip and by doing this alone you can stay away from bad online sportsbooks.

3. Can they be contacted?

Why do business with an online sportsbook you can't talk to? See if they have a phone number. If so, call it and see how long it takes to speak to someone (just tell them you're testing them out).

Also, fire off an email and see how many hours/days it takes for a response.
